All Sorts Acres Farm is a working pasture based regenerative circular sheep farm that does all things sheep through an artistic eye. Bringing the creativity of the artists eye to the patterns of farming has enables All Sorts
Acres to make connections between art, agriculture, and nature in new and unique ways. Our love of animals means that we consider pets and well as their people in our farm. At the core of the farm are sheep that rotationally graze across 14 acres providing milk, meat, wool, and soil fertility and the thriving wetlands that are the inspiration and heart of the farm. Being conscious of the animal to land ratio of the farm keeps the sheep flock small so not to overwhelm the natural systems nature is based on. Sheep milk is turned into delicious grass-fed gelato, kefir, yogurt, and cheese in the on farm inspected kitchen. Each year there is a limited amount of pastured lamb available.
The sheep are shorn twice a year giving us various qualities of wool. The best wool is made into felt art, noise barriers and rugs. Lower quality wool is made into slow release nitrogen wool fertilizer pellets and weed barrier, both of which are renewable, and biodegradable as well as being a byproduct of our food system.
The farm is open during the summer to the public, specialized farm tours, and as a private dog park on Sniffspot.
In the winter we slow down a bit due to the weather. Of course, you can always give us a call to see if a private tour can be arranged.
