We combine Brewer’ Spent Grains and local farm flavours to create crunchy biscuits that you can trust, your pets will love and the planet will thank you.
Spent grains are the oats and barley byproduct of beer making. During the brewing process the grains are “Spent” or steeped to remove the sugars. What is left is a healthy, tasty, low-gluten, sugar-free byproduct that is approximately 20% protein and 70% fiber — it helps your dog’s digestion and is good for humans too!
Our quality limited ingredients are locally sourced and do not include wheat, corn, soy, salt or sugar.
Heather and Barb started making these plant-based biscuits in 2018 as a way to turn left-over spent grains from local breweries into a treat that’s good for pets, people and the planet. Pet parents love that the biscuits are good for gut health, dogs love the smell and taste, and we love upcycling to avoid food waste.
