Founded in 2018 by Le Dolci bakery owner Lisa Sanguedolce and based in Toronto, Canada. Like most moms, Lisa suffered many breastfeeding challenges when her son was born and looked around for solutions. She researched everything and anything to help her breastfeed and found recipes for lactation cookies through her mom community but was too tired to bake them. Lisa couldn’t find them in Toronto so drove to the US to get lactation cookies at Target.
In her mom haze, her staff told her that she owned a bakery and that they could make the cookies in house, and then voila, the lactation cookies were born! Her bakery biz had a cookie baby.
A portion of proceeds from EVERY box sold will go to help support breastfeeding education in North America.
