Maison Verte is a social enterprise with the underlying goal of improving food security and
sustainability under our three pillars: Community, Research and Education. Our pillars serve
as underlying metrics that drive our mission and values. As we take on projects, we seek to
align the objective of the project with our pillars. Most recently we have been working on the
following projects:
- Designing workshops to bring awareness towards food waste, sustainable food
systems and overcoming growing your own food obstacles - Designing and building an urban farming in a controlled environment within a
shipping container in partnership with The Working Centre to supplement their
current community garden space - Ongoing campaigns to elevate experts within food systems
- Advocating for tech-for-good initiatives by designing and building tools which help
and alleviate pains for gardeners and farmers
