When students are feeling overwhelmed or being bullied the washroom is the place they run to for solace. It is a place for them to take a temporary break from outside stressors and re-centre themselves before returning to class. The Libella Project recognizes this, and strives to make the washroom an even more supportive space by painting positive messages in the bathrooms. These painted washrooms let students know let students that they are cared for, and that they are not alone in fighting their hardships. A positive message in a time of need can make a big difference. The Libella Project aims to make that difference.
